MARYVILLE, Mo. – Northwest Missouri State University student Lucas Clark spent his summer interning for Netsmart Technologies in Overland Park, Kan.
Netsmart is medical software company that specializes in behavioral healthcare with offices located in Kansas, New York, California and Ohio.
Lucas worked on the consulting side of the company, close to many of the company’s clients.
“In the position that I was working, I definitely had to use time management which is something I didn’t directly learn from a specific class but throughout my entire time here at Northwest,” said Clark, organizational communication major from Overland Park. “The communication and mass media department has definitely prepared me to speak and listen efficiently, no matter the environment.”
