MARYVILLE, Mo. –Northwest Missouri State student Kylie Niichel participated in an internship this summer with InTouch solutions located in Overland Park, Kan.
InTouch Solutions is a pharmaceutical marketing agency with offices located in Overland Park, Chicago and New York.
Kylie held a full time position in the account services department of InTouch, which served as the liaison between clients and all departments of the agency. She was involved in projects ranging from copywriting to design to search engine optimization.
More specifically, Kylie’s client was a major pharmaceutical company based in Boston. She worked on all different media for them including a web site, print, billboards and mobile apps.
“It was an awesome experience and I learned so much about the advertising industry,” Niichel, public relations major from Lee’s Summit said. “The communication and mass media department really helped me. I had a lot of tasks that dealt with proofreading and having a creative eye. I feel like all my courses really helped me know how to be on top of the tasks I’m assigned and stay up to speed.”
